Cinnamon Solution for Ants
The smell of cinnamon discourages ants from entering your home. According to a study in the International Journal of Science and Research, 2014, essential cinnamon oil is effective in removing ants in homes. Add 1/4 – 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon oil in a glass of water. Soak a cotton swab in this solution and wipe the areas where the ants get in and where they can stay. Repeat the process once a day until the ants disappear.
White wine vinegar to remove ants
Ants do not support the strong smell of vinegar.
In addition, the smell of vinegar masks the anthurium-based trails, causing them to lose their direction. Mix vinegar in equal quantities with water. Pour the solution into a spray bottle. Shake well and sprinkle all the places where the ants can enter. After an hour, the ants are gathered with a damp paper towel and discarded. The process is repeated once a day until you get rid of the ants.
Lemon to get rid of ants in the house
You can try this ingredient in the fight with the ants. The smell of lemon discourages ants, and smell trails disappear due to the acidic lemon property. Squeeze a lemon and gently rub the door sills and other areas where the ants can enter. Repeat the process every few days.
Cucumber shells for the removal of ants
Ants have a natural aversion to cucumbers because of their taste. Bitter cucumbers are perfect for this solution, but you can also use normal cucumbers. Clean a cucumber and put the pieces of shell in all the places where you saw the ants. They are replaced every day until the ants disappear.
